The J.K. Yearick Center is a spacious community event venue operated by the Howard Volunteer Fire Company in Howard, Pennsylvania. Whether you’re planning a wedding, family reunion, banquet, or corporate event, our Banquet Hall offers a flexible space with optional in-house catering to help make your event a success.

Perfect for wedding receptions, company banquets, large reunions, and more. The Banquet Hall is a spacious and flexible room that accommodates a variety of large events. A convenient kitchenette is available for warming and prep work.

- Rental Fee: $400
- Cleanup Fee: $100
- Optional Day-Before Decorating: $100
- Security Deposit: $150 (refundable)

Small Meeting Room
Ideal for intimate gatherings, team meetings, workshops, or small parties. This space is practical, affordable, and fully equipped with tables and chairs.
- Size: 26′ x 30′ (780 sq ft)
- Capacity: Up to 50 guests
- Rental Fee: $60
- Cleanup Fee: $35
- Security Deposit: $35 (refundable)
- Tables & Chairs: Included (8′ rectangular tables & metal chairs)

Catering Services
We proudly offer in-house catering for events held at the J.K. Yearick Center.
Please note:
- The main kitchen is reserved exclusively for our catering team and is not available for use by renters or outside caterers.
- A kitchenette, located off the Banquet Hall, is available for renters and outside caterers for light prep, warming, and cleanup.
Alcohol Policy
We are an alcohol-friendly venue. Renters are permitted to serve alcoholic beverages during their event, under the following conditions:
- Alcohol must be served by a PA RAMP-certified and insured server
- Renters are fully responsible for ensuring compliance with all alcohol-related rules and regulations during their event
Rental Rules & Regulations
To ensure a safe and successful experience for everyone, please review the following guidelines:
- No smoking is allowed anywhere inside the facility
- Decorations may not be attached to walls, floors, or ceilings; ceiling hangers and freestanding décor only
- Access to the truck room, office, main kitchen, and storage areas is not permitted
- Fire lanes must remain clear at all times for emergency access
- Alcohol requires a RAMP-certified server with insurance
- Rental times are from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Midnight
- Additional fees may apply for damages, cleaning, or violations
A full set of rental rules and responsibilities will be provided prior to your event.
