Thank you to everyone who signed up to be part of this year’s Punkin’ Chunkin’ Fall Festival! We’re thrilled to share that all Craft & Arts Vendor and Commercial Vendor spaces have officially sold out.
We’re looking forward to an amazing event and can’t wait to welcome our vendors, community members, and visitors for a fun-filled weekend of fall festivities!

The Howard Fire Company invites local businesses to participate in the 2025 Punkin’ Chunkin’ Fall Festival, taking place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Bald Eagle State Park.
Vendor Information
- $75 donation per 24’W x 20’D space (Max 3 spaces)
- Display only – no on-site sales permitted
- Application, insurance certificate, and payment due by September 19, 2025

Commercial Vendor Rules & Regulations
Please review the following requirements before submitting your application:
Vendor Fee
- $75 donation per space (approximately 24 feet wide by 20 feet deep)
- The donation is non-refundable
- Checks returned for any reason will be subject to a $50 penalty, payable by cash only
Eligibility and Display Guidelines
- Vendors must operate a business from a physical location (“brick and mortar”)
- Commercial vendors may not sell merchandise on-site
- Displays must relate to outdoor recreation, natural resources, environmental topics, or natural history
- All displays must be pre-approved by DCNR at least 30 days prior to the event
- No weapons, ammunition, objectionable, or illegal items are permitted
- Acceptance is for the current festival year only and is non-transferable
- Vendors may not share their space with others
Insurance Requirement
All vendors must carry liability insurance. A certificate of insurance must accompany your application or be sent directly by your insurance provider.
You are not required to name Howard Fire Company as an additional insured. The insurance policy must include the names of all owners, partners, shareholders, and any applicable business “doing business as” (d/b/a) name.
Deadline for submission is September 19, 2025.
Vendor Setup and Expectations
- Vendors may park their trailer in their assigned spot on Friday, October 17, between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Camping overnight is not permitted
- Vendor check-in is Saturday between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
- Event activities begin at 9:00 a.m. and end no later than 6:00 p.m.
- Tents and canopies must be properly secured with weights
- All signs must be attached directly to your booth or trailer — freestanding or staked signs are not permitted
- Vendors must clean up their space after the event and properly dispose of trash. Vendors who leave trash behind may forfeit their spot for future years
Additional Notes
- Only Pennsylvania-based vendors are eligible to participate
- Drone usage is prohibited
- Vendor participation is subject to approval and may be revoked if rules are violated

Important Notes
- All applications are subject to DCNR approval.
- Vendors must carry liability insurance (you don’t need to name HFC as additional insured).
- Trailers may be placed Friday (October 17) between 2–6 PM.
- Vendors are responsible for keeping their area clean.
- Canopies must be properly weighted. No freestanding signs.
- Vendor check-in: Saturday, 7–9 AM
- No drones permitted.
