Raffle Rules & Participation Guidelines

Thank you for participating in our online raffles! Your support directly benefits the Howard Fire Company and helps us continue providing top-quality emergency services to the communities we serve.

General Rules

  • You must be 18 years or older to win. Some prizes require winners to be 21 years or older and/or able to pass a background check.
  • If a background check is required and not passed, the prize (or portion of it) will be forfeited and become property of the Howard Fire Company.
  • All prizes are raffled as-is with no warranties unless otherwise stated.
  • Tickets are non-refundable unless a refund is approved by the Howard Fire Company.
  • The department reserves the right to cancel raffles and issue refunds should sales decline or cease.
  • All proceeds benefit the Howard Fire Company.

Entry & Drawing Information

  • Raffles are posted individually on the Howard Fire Company Facebook Page with direct links to our Square store.
  • Click “Raffle Shop” to view active raffles.
  • When a raffle sells out, it will no longer appear in the store and the Facebook post will be marked SOLD OUT with the drawing date.

Confirming Your Entry

Drawing Schedule

  • Drawings are held LIVE on Facebook
  • Typically take place after 9 PM
  • Drawn on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays
    (Times may vary due to emergencies or availability)

If You Win

  • Winners will be contacted via email (check your spam folder!)
  • Winners will also be posted on the Howard Fire Company Facebook Page the same night as the drawing
  • Larger prize amounts may be subject to W2G issuance and income tax withholding

Prize Pickup & Shipping

  • Pickup Location: 341 Walnut Street, Howard, PA 16841
  • Pickup Times: 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM
    • Available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays
  • Use the side door on the left-hand side of the building (next to the ice chest — it will be propped open during pickup hours)
  • Need alternate arrangements? Contact us — we’ll do our best to accommodate (note: volunteers may not be available outside of regular times)
  • Do not attempt pickup outside posted times, even if vehicles are present
  • Shipping is available at the winner’s expense; all shipping/delivery fees must be paid before items are shipped
  • Prizes must be claimed within 30 days or they will be forfeited
